Anyone having a problem with yahoo?

I just get blank emails in Thunderbird.

I don't see anything obvious that is wrong. Is it happening consistently? Sometimes Yahoo gets a little buggy.

The full log file might be more helpful to me (after removing your username/email and password you can zip them up and attach the zip file). One thing I always look for in the log.txt is the version of the yahoo.lua file loaded. e.g.:

I assume you are using that version 0.4.20110625. I attached the newest version I've worked on. I made a few minor changes with error handling, but nothing that would really fix your problem.

I tried your latest "fix" and for some reason I got all of my yahoo email.
I'm running the latest version of Thunderbird (7.0.1).

The last email was odd and came through with no subject and this odd message:

I sent a couple of test emails out to be sure and I got them back so I just wanted to say thank you!
I guess for "fail" emails Thunderbird does not display them, although I have no idea where "rjdhs.net" came from. This is a total guess.

I have a yahoo account. I am not sure if it is classic or not. It's been so long since I looked at it on the web I don't remember. The email account is not really that important so I never took the time to figure out why the following is happening until now. I just kind of let it go. Now I need the account so...

Looking at the log, it would seem that everything seems to be OK but I am not getting any downloaded emails.

Any ideas?

FIX:

1. Downgrade to Yahoo Classic, How To Get Back Classic Yahoo! Mail (Updated);
2. Installed Webmail extension for Mozllia Thunderbird;
3. Run it once on port 110 (POP3);
4. Change port to 2000 (POP3) and all e-mails downloaded OK;
5. Uninstalled Webmail extension for Mozllia Thunderbird;
6. If you want you can upgrade again your to Yahoo Mail account.

Sorry I wasn't receiving updates on this thread and my account was actually banned for some reason, but that appears to have been fixed now.

From his debug log, bazianm is using an old version (0.3.20100809) of my yahoo.lua. The newest one is just a few posts back in this thread (0.4.20110719).

Glad you found a substitute, Gugudoll.

My yahoo.lua 0.4.20110719 above is still working for me. I periodically get a login failure, but as far as I can tell, that is a problem on Yahoo's side and not the FreePOPs side.

You can post your debug logs after cleaning them if you are having trouble and I'll take a look.

I was not also able to download any e-mails.

I used and still do your yahoo.lua (MD5: 10471725E2E07AC4DF1A7864C8E9C7D5).

It was only after the FIX for post #47 that I was able to download e-mails again.

I only use Webmail extension for Mozllia Thunderbird (Hotmail plugin), because hotmail.lua does not work any more.
